I’m Back!!!

September 14, 2012 by Leah Stirewalt 9 Comments

After a brief blog hiatus…I’m so excited to be back!

And, I’m happily married to my prince, as of August 25!!!!!!!!!

Our beach wedding was small, intimate, and absolutely perfect! Our honeymoon was quite eventful thanks to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac (more on that ridiculous story in a future post).

We’re busily working to physically combine two households, and it’s coming together – slowly, but surely. Life is full, but life is sweet (even on those difficult days).

God has been showing me so much lately, and I can’t wait to process some of that here with you, my precious readers. He never ceases to amaze me at how He can create such beauty from such a heavy load of ashes. Only God, my friends…only God.

But, for today…let me just share a few pictures from our wedding and honeymoon. More to write on later. Thanks so much for your love, encouragement, prayers, and patience during this hiatus!

You are a blessing to me!

Mr. and Mrs. Stirewalt

Meet Leah

Leah StirewaltI became "twice widowed" when my beloved prince, Joel, went to his Heavenly home after a brief and sudden illness on February 12, 2017. Iโ€™m in a place of shock and devastation, but I intend to use this format to journal my second widow journey, much like I did my first. Itโ€™s my open journal, my electronic oasis, and itโ€™s often the place I find true healing as I allow myself to โ€œcome cleanโ€ with my feelings. Read More...
