If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times since the death of my late husband, Chris… “I just sent _______ to your blog, so they can read about your grief experience first-hand.”
I’m so thankful that so many of you who walked through that journey on my blog are now remembering those posts as you encounter other women who now find themselves widowed and hurting. It truly is flattering. The struggle? Those particular posts are getting archived deeper and deeper on this website, as time continues to elapse.
While there are other ways to bring those posts to the forefront of a website, I don’t want them to be all that anyone sees. God has worked in so many other areas of my life as well. So, after much prayer and conversation with others, I’ve determined the route I’m going to take…
I’m going to publish those posts in a single book compilation, documenting my first year of grief and widowhood, specifically!
It will be available in paperback and ebook formats and will hopefully be a more useful tool to share with those that could benefit from reading those posts from my faith-filled, yet difficult, widow journey. The project is currently underway, and I would love to say it’ll be available at the beginning of the new year! Would you join me in praying that to be the case?
I’ll continue to provide details about this project as they emerge. I can’t wait to see how God chooses to continue using those difficult days to help someone else! He. Amazes. Me.
